PIQUA - After a disappointing loss to the Indians on Monday, the Aviators couldn't get back on the field soon enough.
Butler got it's rematch on Tuesday and wasted little time, jumping out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning, enroute to a 6-2 win over Piqua.
Sophomore Russ Stratman went 2-for-3 with three runs, while sophomore Hunter Richardson went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.
Junior Austin Flohre and senior Max Frye each added an RBI, while junior Alex Ables added two RBI.
Junior righty Jordan Taylor (1-0) was solid from the bump, allowing just one earned run, while striking out nine in a complete game performance.
The Aviators return to action on Thursday, hosting Stebbins at 5:00 pm.
