Butler Bats Remain Red Hot In 15-1 Win

GREENVILLE - Bruisers, Bombers, Bullies - come up with whatever moniker you like - these Aviators are hitting the cover off of the ball.

The hit parade continued Tuesday evening in Greenville, as Butler (7-0, 5-0) rolled to a 15-1 win in five innings of play. The Aviators hammered out fourteen hits, including a double by Mike Masters and a pair of two-run homers by Boston Smith.

On the flipside, Butler allowed just one hit - paced on the mound by senior Kaden Echeman (3-0) who went the distance with ten strikeouts.

Masters was 2-for-2 with two RBI and fellow senior Bryce Echeman was 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Carson Clark finished 2-for-3, while Cason Bennett added two RBI.

Butler returns to action on Friday, playing host to Greenville at 5:00 pm.
