VANDALIA - The Aviators Express rolled to 15-2 overall and 12-1 in the Miami Valley League with a 17-1 win over Fairborn.
Senior lefty Quinton Hall (6-1) got it done on the mound and at the plate for Butler. Hall pitched four innings, striking out eight and went 3-for-3 with three runs.
Hall was relieved by sophomore Evan Ables who closed out the fifth with a strikeout for the run-rule win.
Carson Clark continued to sizzle at the plate, finishing 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a run. Kaden Echeman went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double, while Austin Flohre went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two runs and a double.
Mike Masters and Boston Smith each added three RBI for the Aviators.
The series finale is set for 5:00 Tuesday evening at Fairborn.
