RIVERSIDE - The Aviators (6-0, 4-0) ran their streak to six straight Monday evening, with a 14-2 win over Stebbins.
Freshman Jordan Taylor (1-0) earned his first varsity win, pitching five innings of shutout baseball with six strikeouts. Taylor was relieved by sophomore Evan Ables and senior Bitty Hendricks who combined for three strikeouts.
Offensively Carson Clark homered, Bitty Hendricks tripled, while Mike Masters and Kaden Echeman each doubled.
Quinton Hall and Cason Bennett each added multiple hits in the win.
Next up for Butler is a series against Greenville (2-3, 1-3) that will feature a Tuesday and Friday match-up.
